My work had their yearly Fall Festival. I usually don't really care to go to work things that often but I was so glad we went to this. Daddy was working so it was just Grace and I. What made me want to take Grace is hearing they were going to have BOUNCIES!! :) And they had LOTS of them! She had a BLAST!! They also had the balls that she could get in and play (which she had never done before) and other inflatables. She had so much fun and they even fed us lunch. They had fried catfish or grilled/ fried chicken fingers, fries, coleslaw, fruit, etc. It was all GREAT! A day well spent! :)
The following weekend was packed with Halloween fun. Well first we went to a Farmer's Market Fall Festival on the Saturday morning before Halloween. I let her dress up and the highlight for her was painting a pumpkin. Not much more for her to do at this festival..
That afternoon was our Pastor's daughter, Zoe's 1st Birthday party. Great food and fun!
After that we got ready and went to Magic Springs Amusement Park for their Halloween festivities. Grace got to ride the kiddie rides and see lots of people dressed up and even trick or treat some around the park. We also were trying to shield her from some of the scary masks that some of the older people were wearing.
On Halloween day, Grace's preschool had a day packed full of good times. They all wore their costumes to school and then they had a parade to the local newspaper and trick or treated there and then back to school. They also had a Halloween party with pizza, Halloween cookies, crafts, and even got a goodie bag/ bucket from her teacher. Her FABULOUS teacher is the one dressed up like a crayon. Grace wanted to wear her Rapunzel wig down this day.
Halloween ended with a visit from Josiah and Crystal for a trick or treat and then some trick or treating down our road. We later made a stop at the fire station for some brief bouncing fun and then a local church's Trunk or Treat! Whew.. :)
