Special Times for Grace

This past month or so has brought so really special times for Grace as well as a lot of fun.  She has had many birthday parties to go to and even had her first spend the night birthday party for Makayla last month. They were up till 2 am I believe her mother said and then Grace got up after 5 am that morning!!  They had a blast but you can imagine she was exhausted! The other parties included a princess party and a swim party at the YMCA. She also was invited for a sleepover with her good friend Charlize.  They did all kinds of fun things too including making pizza and cookies together with her Momma (our friends April and Rod Ayers) and playing dress up and doing nails and so on.

Then her school had the Daddy Daughter Dance last Friday night.  She was SUPER excited about that! For weeks ahead of time, she wanted to practice their dances with her Daddy! It was so sweet and she was definitely Daddy's little princess!

That same night, it snowed very quickly (more than expected) and made a mess of the roads, so they did cut the dance short.  The next day, we got to go out and play in the snow some before it all melted away. We waited a little bit though to get out there.

This is for the 100th day of school at Lakeside. Grace dressed like she was a 100 year old.  This is what we literally threw together :)

Just to add, Grace is such a big girl now.  She is so smart and doing so well in school. We are amazed at her ability to read and with her sight words and math.  It is still a work in progress but it is truly neat to see how far she has come in kindergarten! Her writing is great too! Proud of our big girl!!
